Arena Discussion

Post by Finalroge » Thu Oct 13, 2016 10:07 pm

So since the arena update, along with the ability to gain scars, leveling up has changed a bit for me.

As always its good to stack as much int as possible(and damn me when I get a 12 roll Fox Cunning is never available hahaha)

I've found that its more reliable these days to grind on something rather weak to further avoid the chance of gaining an injury...because a single scar on my Demon Prophet char seemed to significantly increase my instances of permanent injuries.
I have tennis elbow on my newest melee and at the moment don't really want to get it healed because of the chance of gaining more injury.

Scarring has certainly increased the hardcore element :)

What do you guys think?

Maybe make scaring 50% weaker?

I find that the best arena to grind in is the Ogre arena. There's no risk of dying and the EXP seems to be the fastest since your killrate is faster than it is in the hardest arena.

Scarring seems pretty intense at the moment, but I'm curious how others feel about it. It may very well be fine as is, but it encourages a playstyle of safety first for sure.
